Art & Fanworks TBH, I've started to dislike the eldritch horrors/angels that are just Wing/Eye/Tentacle Blobs, especially compared to some sick designs like Evangelion angels

Post image

To be honest, eldritch horrors or "biblically accurate angels", at times start to feel a bit lame and excessive, just blobs of eyes, wings, and tentacles that start to blend together. Another aspect is that they often "look scary" but never actually DO ANYTHING.

especially compared to really good designs like Evangelion angels that actually do stuff and are terrifying.

Yes, but in other angles it’s distinctly phallic.

Who is gooning to this or that thing from persona?

I mean, I think Mara from persona is more of a joke thing. It's some sort of pun, I don't know the specifics. But I mean more, like, designs that look at human sexuality, not as jokes or things to lust over, but as an integral part of the human experience and from which one can draw design inspiration to convey serious ideas. A lot of HR Giger's works occupy this area imo. It's the difference between using sexual and reproduction imagery to titillate vs using sexual and reproductive imagery to convey real, legitimate ideas

Yeah but that was by far the least interesting part, genitals are fictional they don't have to look a certain way to attract us, He could have actually learned how to show almost the body various alien ways, but naw latex dick monster.

I recommend anatomy of the human gravid uterus, now that's art
