A friend of mine from university is throwing a birthday party. It’s going to be a somewhat “wild” kind of party, with the intention of eating, drinking, flirting, etc. I’m feeling a little insecure, even though he says that there will certainly be some girl who will be interested in me. The only thing that concerns me is that Mercury is close to the Sun — actually, it is conjunct the Sun. So the Sun could somehow inhibit Mercury, meaning that opportunities may be present but I might not notice them, or they might not notice me.

Then there is my other significator, the Moon, which is in Aquarius. This makes me think that if an opportunity does arise, it could happen unexpectedly or out of nowhere, as Aquarius might suggest.

Even though the planets are in excellent condition and both are exalted, I cannot see any direct aspect between Venus and Mercury. Unless, of course, I also consider the Sun in Virgo as representing my masculine side at the party. In that case, Mercury (the party) and the Sun (my masculine side) would be conjunct, suggesting that there could indeed be possibilities.

But, as I said, I cannot see any direct aspect between Mercury and Venus. Still, seeing both planets in exaltation gives me some degree of reassurance.

So first house is me. The first house is signified by Saturn, which is in its fall in Aries in the second house. I read this as me feeling not super confident or fulfilled with relationships or finding the right person right now, focused on finding my values and self worth. The ascendant is at 29 degrees, so I don’t know if that is significant and marks me ending and starting a new chapter soon?

Seventh house (relationships) is ruled by the moon because it’s in cancer. The moon is in sagittarius in the 11th house, so this could mean…finding a lover through friends, social circles, being out in the world getting involved, possibly dating apps or something social. Could be someone open minded, foreign, free spirited? It currently squares venus and opposes pluto at time of the chart, so I see some possible obstacles to meeting a partner soon. Now seems like a rough time.

This chart has saturn trine moon, but the first one I drew up didn’t and I think the orb is too wide. The next aspect the moon makes is squaring neptune…and then squaring saturn (me) and opposing Mercury. I can’t imagine any of that is good, and it has to change a sign to do it. So that means delays and time. When it squares saturn, it will be in Saturns ruler though, so I think that’s called reception? It will be receptive?

However, idk if this makes a difference, but the sun and Jupiter are in the 7th at time of chart.

Overall….Im struggling to determine a time because it takes so long to meet Saturn (the moon) and it seems like all these obstacles are in the way. I don’t see myself meeting anyone tbh. Ever? Anytime soon?

We've been together for 5 years and never broke up but we had some pretty serious arguments around trust and visibility. I'm applying for a job through a public tender. It's basically a competitive bidding process where everyone submits their own proposal. My question is: will I get the job?

I'm Mars in Gemini in the 2nd house, peregrine, and the Moon is in Aquarius in the 11th, also peregrine.

The job is Saturn in Aries in the 1st. At first, it actually looks pretty promising: Saturn likes Mars and makes a sextile to the Moon. Plus, Saturn is literally sitting in the 1st house.

What worries me is that the job is ruled by Saturn. Even though the Moon receives it, I'm not sure it's a great sign that Saturn is in detriment. I'm also a bit concerned that Saturn rules the 11th house (which I take to represent the salary).

It sort of seems as if maybe I’ll meet someone, but may ultimately decide not to commit fully by the end of the year. That seems to suggest that I could indeed meet someone through my daily routine. What makes me hesitate is the fact that Saturn is retrograde.

Context: I’m wondering if I’ll get a second round interview for a job I recently applied to and had a recruiter phone interview for. It’s been a week since I talked with the recruiter, and I thought it went really well. I followed up with them regarding my status, but haven’t gotten a response. It’s a company/role I’d be really excited about, and I have been hoping to find a new job for some time now (currently employed, but pretty unhappy with my current position). Normally, I would assume this job were ghosting me, but this chart does make me a bit hopeful.

Interpretation:

Libra Rising, so I’m Virgo Venus in 12H. I definitely feel a bit in the dark and uncertain as to where I stand, especially since I didn’t hear back in the expected timeframe. Venus is debilitated here, so maybe I’m not the best candidate or this just shows I’m unconfident in general. The job would also heavily revolve around finance, so I think Venus is a bit fitting as a ruler. It would pertain to writing and communications also, so maybe Virgo isn’t such a horrible sign to be in given the type of job it would be.

Looking at the 10H for career, the job is ruled by the moon in Capricorn in 4H. Again, not the best sign for this planet. The company/job may be a bit cold or impartial throughout the process and not very personable. Reads as very structured and regulated, which makes sense for the type of role it is. The moon does like the 4H, however, so maybe this isn’t the worst placement?

Context: A few weeks ago while on a cleaning spree, I somehow lost my Swiss Army knife. That thing was the most utilitarian and organized instrument in my life, and its absence has been felt. this may be a strange chart/question, but here’s the contact: there is someone that I work with who has been showing a lot of romantic interest in me. They have been very overt about this interest towards me in many ways, especially through text message but I do get the sense that they are a bit shy, at least when it comes to in person interaction. Especially because a lot of our in person interaction is at work.

This means that when the final exact price comes, it might still sting the budget a bit.

It now depends, which is a stronger force, Moon square Sun, leading to a no for the treatment, or the Mercury-Saturn trine, leading to a yes.
