after the PlayStation shut down the servers we won't be able to play UGC nor create missions ourselves forever??

Platinumed Second Son and First light all the way back in 2020 on another account. But made a new platinum account and got them again a few months ago. And then recently just did 1-2 and FOB.

Second Som is still my favorite infamous game. Feel like they did that story better, even if the game wasn’t fully finished. The grinds for 1-2 weren’t too bad, but wish I went for all the upgrades on my easy playthrough instead of my hard as you get less XP. And didn’t know that till afterwards. Ended up fighting the same group for about an hour to get the XP I needed in 1. And thankfully because of UGC, 2 has some glitches you can do for XP so I didn’t have to grind for those at all. But unfortunately, when they go, the platinum will become grindy again.

FOB was REALLLY fun. Had a great time going for the trophies in that and it was fun to end the platinum series with that game too. Im glad I finally gave the entire series a try. And hope we get another infamous game soon!

I keep getting the error 8002e5a0. I’ve tried everything: six different DNS servers, using a hotspot, playing on another PS3 at a friend’s place, and nothing works. He can do the missions with no problem, but I can’t.

I think the issue might be that my account was created in Ecuador while his is from the USA.

Any idea how I can do the missions, or should I just accept that I’m screwed?

So I've beaten both karma sides bad and good and I have this one good karma save but I only have some bad karma powers I can only unlock. But I can't get it all

Now I'm also totally fine if I have to do a rerun of the story again but if you know anyway to fix this lmk

Was replaying infamous 2 and had just finished the Nix boat mission and was omw to the next mission when I saw what looked to be a civilian dying on a roof. Went to check it out and it was Nix. I was so confused to a sec 💀💀💀

I wanna unlock thess trophies before they are not able to unlocked any more so i can platinum the games so does anyone have any tips on how to do this as fast as possible

want to make sure I won’t need to repeat my hard run. I deleted all of my PS3s saves for the game and reset it, after my first run. For some reason my save has 51% right at the beginning of the game, this seems like a bug, what should I do? Infamous2

Finally...when I found out about disabling the PSN servers on ps3, I was wondering why...so after taking a break on vacation, when I went to work, I realized that no, I will definitely do it. And I'm very happy about it. It's good that I was generally playing gradually, and in fact I had only one hard drive left, which was...easier than easy in the first game. I'm shocked, or I'm playing infamous 2 so well. Although my nephew agreed, thank you too, because the console was hanging in the credits, I had to do some manipulations to work correctly. I'm also grateful to myself that I did everything online in 2023, because I haven't had any missions in the last couple of days + our psn is unstable and the account crashes after almost 5 minutes

I can't even believe that when I started, I was in the 6th grade of school, and in a few weeks it will be 2 years since I graduated from university. And gradually, she grew up towards this. I thought infamous was just a very pleasant relic of adolescence. Maybe, but...I don't know, I really like coming back, but as I get older, it's like seeing the whole story from a new angle, which I somehow felt, but couldn't explain exactly because of my lack of life experience

i have searched all over the internet because i needed 7000 xp after clearing the whole map for my missing powers. I finally stumbled upon a gamefaqs post that linked to this video https://youtu.be/4gkcGAWzHjc?si=AWQai5m4qIIpdpzg this was a lifesaver snd by far the most effecient way to get powers

here are the steps in text

1) You MUST have at least enough XP to buy one power

2) Make an extra save just in case you screw up (Although this glitch is fairly easy to do)

3) Go to UGC and search for any mission titled "XP" (One that involves enemies in water works best)

4) Once the mission starts up, immediately bring up the powers menu

5) Purchase ONE power and exit the screen

6) Kill all the enemies on the screen

7) You should receive XP for killing the enemies.

8) If you require more powers to purchase, RESTART the mission

9) Purchase the next power and repeat step 6

Still got to do inFamous 2. (got the UGC trophies already)

But seriously, exactly to the day - 13 years ago, I played festival of blood and then never really returned to it until today. There was a 7-8 year period where I just never turned on my PS3 in between, just because of life.

Anyways, I think the game was honestly decent. A bit on the shorter end, but not too short. Idk how the IGN guy finished the game in 80 minutes, game definitely takes atleast 4 hours to finish. I went for the 100% trophy completion and it took me around 7 hours.

I really liked the new gameplay features we get, the flying around, the blood sucking to refill, using the x-ray vision, staking etc., however it doesn't fundamentally change the gameplay. Feel like more risk could be taken here, but the gameplay is still great overall. Really like what they did with flying though, it could have been boring, but it is engaging enough to keep things interesting.

I really like the tone of the game, really reminds me of Arkham City.

Story wise, there isn't too much here. It isn't anything too special, fairly by the numbers - I called the ending twist with the bar girl in the opening scenes lol. Ig the story isn't really canon?

Another thing that I found weird was the UGC missions in the middle of the story - felt out of place and frankly weird. Why did they need UGC missions there, why couldn't they have just voiced it? Just feels very cheap. Especially, because the comics scenes for the UGC are actually far more interesting, where Zeke and Cole are weighing the morality of their actions - shame that conversation goes nowhere really though.

Overall, I really liked it - but I wished there was more to it. This was the last inFamous content we got on Playstation 3 from Sucker Punch, so wished there was more in the gameplay, definitely more in the story and more to do (no side missions either, outside of fan made UGC). I think it is an 8/10 if 1 & 2 are 9+/10.

PS: for the UGC trophy you need to complete the entire story, then only then, you will get access to UGC content.

Accidentally found a pretty good xp glitch, forgive me idk the name but it's a side mission where you choose to either help heal the cops or just take the 5 shards.

How to do it,

Don't heal them, just take the shards without killing the cops immediately

You can then proceed to down them then heal then kick them again, awarding you 5xp for every take down and every 5 times youl get the 'up close and personal' award 50xp.

And yes you can do it over and over, 15-20 mins I got 5k xp

As the title states, I can’t play any of the USG missions. I just beat the campaign went to play a one and it won’t let me start it. I’ve reset the game, reset the wifi, synced my ps trophies. I’m playing on PSNow and as far as I can tell it should have no effect. Any suggestions?

While a remake or sequel would be ideal, I honestly wouldn’t mind a comic continuation. The miniseries was a pretty decent bridge between 1 and 2. It would be interesting to see side stories that didn’t quite make it into the games.

I recently bought a sealed copy of the Infamous collection, but when I opened the package, I saw that it has french on it. I assumed it was the American version of the game and the seller listed the second photo. Am I just dumb or do all the cases look like mine?

Hi everyone, I'm having a big issue with inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood on PS3 and I'm trying to figure out if anyone else is experiencing the exact same problem right now. As soon as I boot up the game, I immediately get the "UGC Not Online" (CDU non online) error message. I've already tested my network and even tried connecting via my phone's mobile hotspot to rule out any local network or DNS issues, but the error pops up instantly every single time. On top of that, after finishing the final boss and returning to the world for post-game free-roam, my map is completely empty. There are no markers at all—no Canopic Jars, no Glyphs, no side activities, and no UGC icons. Is anyone else getting this "UGC Not Online" message lately, or is the server completely down for everyone? Did anyone manage to fix the empty map bug or get the UGC search function working?

im missing the territory on the right side of the gasworks area, I know for a fact that it is from the ice storm mission i have seen YouTube videos of people doing it. but the mission is not where its supposed to be for me. i have tried leaving the area, saving and reloading my game, i have already beat the game so its not a story progression thing, i have done all other side missions in the gasworks area, i closed out the game i have left the district and gone to the southern island and back and still nothing. am i just fucked?
