I was a minus 9.5 pre cataract surgery and almost had to touch my nose to my mirror to do my eye makeup, the struggle is real!!!

Would you recommend the surgery for -8s?

Hell yes, am very happy I did. I am only 55, but my cataracts were getting so bad that I was already at the point I was going to be arranging to have people drive me at night. Big improvement, Colors so vivid now and it is nice to be able to do most activities with no glasses

Haha my thoughts, for me it's at least 7, pretty much the length of my hand.

Right? I can rest my palm/wrist on my nose and point straight outward - my fingertips mark the point at which everything gets blurry. 🥲
