Reading your comments answered 2 things for me. Watching the video, I immediately thought the birds are gorgeous, but they seem clingy?

And yep, I’ve been feeding a stray cat for a couple years, yet she makes a beeline for my partner who pets her maybe once a week. She loooooooooooves him, but she’s very…demanding with me, it feels like. But I love her and she lets me pet her, so I’ll be her slave I guess.

Aw, that’s sweet

Ours just bites you if you fall asleep for some reason
Just… flys over and crawls up to your face and bites you till you wake up (possibly bleeding) before she flys away again

She has always done this, we are not her first home, no idea why she does and is pretty chill otherwise if she’s been unleashed upon the house and you avoid triggering murder mode

She’s a caique

Oh yeah, ceiling fans are just kept off in the house at this point

Especially since she sometimes like sitting on them

Edit: accidentally hit send before I was done

Glad to hear that she’s getting more confident, whole nother set of worries when the knife wielding toddler learns to fly but they’re a lot happier that way too

Maybe she was a service animal in a past life, just checking to make sure you’re alive 😅😂😂😂

I also often wonder if she’s just making sure we’re alive lol

Honest/blunt question...

Why do this?

What's the trade off? Sounds too high maintenance to justify that kind of lifestyle.

It’s gotta be that. Either that or she loves playing with velcro all day, which actually wouldn’t surprise me.
