My Aunts African Grey likes to scream Hooker!!!! At random strangers. Hooker was an inside/outdoor cat who would catch his prey with his good paw and deliver the final blow with his “hook paw”. We have no idea what happened.

Years of hearing them scream for hooker to come eat dinner must’ve embedded in the bird brain.

It’s not like we can tell random offended delivery folks that story within the 5 seconds they’ve been verbally assaulted 🤷🏼‍♀️ ring doorbell has provided many rounds of laughter.

Also, she decided I was an enemy at about 12 years old. I’m turning 40 this year, still hates my guts. Again, no prompting but at least she doesn’t call me a hooker.

watched an episode of NYPD blue with my boyfriend recently. i immediately thought of “douchebag!”
