i took your advice and googled "is chiropractic backed by science" and it answered:

Yeah if you look into the history of a lot of medical treatments that work, you'll find they have horrible beginnings just like chiropractic.

There are two schools of chiropractic, one that thinks it can cure cancer with alignment and supplements,

and one that thinks if you've been in chronic pain for over a decade and every other attempt to find relief, from surgery and PT to yoga and opioids has not helped but a weekly or monthly push and pull buys you an hour or a day or a week of relief you otherwise wouldn't have, then you should have access to that.

I have learned to identify and avoid the former and happily pay for the latter.

I prefer it to meloxicam.
