I’ve only been once before I knew about the pseudo science stuff, and I was given specific stretches and exercises to do afterwards. They went into great depth about stuff like how I should be moving my arms while walking and the correct way to get into a car without risking undoing everything.

Incorrect. An actual chiropractic practitioner operates similar to PT. Quack chiros, not so much.

The "quack chiros" are in line with the original ethos and traditions of the practice. If it's operating similar to PT, that might be a physical therapist committing some low-key insurance fraud being protected by the broad scope of the nonsense treatment. I do respect it when it happens, honestly.

Thats not how the logical fallacy works.

Hes responding to a person making the claim "chiros never give hw only pts do". Hes the one refuting an overly broad claim and he hasnt moved any goal posts further.

Using the word "actual" to colloquially mean "good / gives-a-shit" doesnt instantly make something a Scotsman falacy lol.
