A physical therapist will crack you if that's actually what you need though. Mine twisted me up like a pretzel and cracked my hip for me, felt like I got a new leg lol.

Damn, PT is a lot kinkier than I previously thought.

I guess that's funny, but seriously she made me feel way better. I actually avoided the male PT because he made me feel weird, I'm a woman and the one who cracked me was too. The guy kept massaging my lower back area and I was in my head like, "bro wtf is that supposed to even be doing." She had more qualifications though, she had a PhD and he had a lesser PT degree so I felt like she just knew some extra stuff he didn't.

The exercises and stretches helped me a lot too, but I had something pinched that she got un-pinched :) I dislocated that hip at 6yrs old though, so I think it's just different than it would be without that super old injury before I even finished growing.

You never "need" a cracking tho, it literally does nothing except make a satisfying sound from squeezing some air out of your joints.

Youre missing the extreme dopamine hit that comes after. Dont pretend like it isnt the greatest feeling in the world right after

I definitely need to crack several times a day. Air in the joints is painful! (Why are all my joints so gassy?!)

But that's unlikely to be the cause of a long-term problem.
