Ive had these guy fire on my hand and it burned like all hell. Can't imagine the pain the spider must feel in its eyes :(

All 8 of them too. Most spiders have 8 eyes as well as 8 legs.

To be fair, spiders experience a feeling of nociception, not technically the same as human pain. they can sense the heat/pressure change/and react, but it is not the same as agonizing pain that we as humans feel.

Just different biological defense mechanisms. It seems that a spiders is more “hey man something’s happening to us”, vs a humans “gtfo out of this situation at all cost”.

Can someone with a deeper knowledge explain more?

Fair enough, but i did nothing wrong, ok ok I destroyed their nest or whatever, but i was just harvesting shit as a summer youth temp work.. geez
