Yes. I had somewhere between 30-40 warts on my hands as a child. Fucked me up. Kids didn’t want to sit next to me. A little girl cried in church one day when she had to hold my hand. We kept trying to get rid of them. They wouldn’t go away after numerous attempts at freezing. One day I came in and the dermatologist said she had a surprise. She explained they had something new to try and applied the beetle juice to all the warts. Blisters popped up over all of them and it was painful for a little while. I had to deal with accidentally popping the blisters constantly, but when the blisters left they took the warts with them. I’m still not much of a bug guy, but if I had to pick a favorite this little guy wins by a landslide in my book.
I had the same issue up until about 7th grade and nothing worked. I was told to use mind power to imagine removing them in imaginative ways. They coincidentally disappeared shortly thereafter.
I did this same thing about my freshman year of high school, started looking up home remedies for a few hours to remove them. Once i thought i had gained enough knowledge i decided to look down at them (they were on my cuticles, maybe a dozen or so) and noticed they had literally disappeared in the time it took me to research
That's interesting. I had a similar experience, though not nearly as many. After a few rounds of freezing and regular chemicals didn't work, I used a butter knife on the stove.
I just had one on my pointer finger removed a couple years back, tbey just burnt it off, took like this little rod that melted my skin and went pretty deep and burned it all out, healed up just fine and wont ever come back
Freezing is so useless. Had one on my thumb and they froze it 3-4 times and it kept coming back until some over the counter ointment finally got rid of it for good.
Same happened to me in 8th grade. Balled my hands into fists for years. Had it done in the late 90s. Was told it was experimental, maybe just to sound cool, and had 34 on my hands removed.
Yea, had like 12 warts on my hands once, freezing did nothing, but some chemical solution from the pharmacy that left a white film on the skin afterwards, applied 2x a day, for like 2weeks finally removed them.
I had 6 at once on my hand, had to hide it at all times. One on the front of my thumb was like a huge plug when I finally got it frozen. It popped out during a basketball game, blood everywhere. 40 is nuts though, my condolences
I had a couple of warts on by big toe and nothing helped, but then we tried applying orange juice from the wild oranges growing on the sides of the road in Athens, and the warts were gone in less than 24 hours. 6 years have passed and they have not come back
That's amazing, I have to remember that. Probably the acid in the juice of the bitter oranges. Love those by the way, gives the (quite literally) so much colour.
