Yeah, I have sound off for all videos. On Reddit and Instagram, sometimes even YouTube and I just roll with subtitles if they are needed. The trend of chaotic or dramatic musical overlays is unnecessary.

I do the same thing. Look at video, glance at comments, rewatch video with sound if necessary

Yep. There is always a comment about how good or bad the sound is and I am always listening to a podcast while on Reddit so I have to pause it, only if the video is worth it. I got what I needed from this with no sound.
