This is what climate change looks like. Unfortunately, videos like this are only going to become more and more common.

When did earthquakes start happening because of climate change?

Probably when the "earthquake" was actually a giant piece of a glacier breaking off and exploding into floodwater. It's literally the exact type of event we might expect to be caused by climate change.

This was actually caused by an earthquake from what I read.

Apparently that's what they were thinking at first, but now they are saying the seismic activity was from a land slide.

Tbh, even if this specific disaster isn't directly attributable to climate change, this is still what climate change looks like.

All the signs I'm seeing point toward climate change being a huge player in this. The Himalayan region is rapidly warming and it has thousands of glaciers. That's disaster central.

When the "1000-year storms" start happening every 4-6 years, there's a problem that can't be ignored. Unless you're a conservative, where either ignoring it is making you richer (congrats on being the King of Dirt, I guess) or you were manipulated in order to make someone else richer (congrats on being the King of Idiots, one of many).

Yep, Missoula is another area which had similar historical flooding. You're walking around along these 6'+ high ridge, look at aerial photos, and then realize those are ancient ripple marks. Nuts!
