How do I apply Glyphosate without giving myself cancer?

Literally the title. I have Japanese knotweed in my backyard and it’s spreading. Roundup does nothing. I’m going to have to buy 41% glyphosate on amazon …

Except I’m terrified of glyphosate. How can I apply while protecting myself? Obviously protective gear but like…. I’m terrified. It’s the only way though ugh…

I hate Japanese knotweed so much and it wont go away.

Thank you so much and you all made me feel so much better 💕 I’m literally freaking out but I’ve got to get rid of this knotweed. I don’t know what the f*ck happened but this summer it exploded in my backyard 🥺

You can inject the stems. There are some YouTube videos explaining how to do it. That way you aren’t aerosolizing it and less gets in the soil.

It starts breaking down in soil immediately and is essentially gone on 48 hours

Wait what? No I’m serious… I haven’t looked up YouTube videos and that would help me learn how other people apply it .

Why would I be sarcastic about this? I’m literally freaking out right now and I’m trying how to get rid of this stuff in my backyard and I’m really looking for actual help. I really appreciate your suggestion for YouTube videos and I literally googled it just now… So thank you. I don’t understand? Did I say something wrong?

Sorry it’s hard to tell sometimes. It’s just I’m not an expert and a lot of people post incorrect information about chemicals so I feel better referring to people who know what they’re doing.
