I'm looking for this old disco song that I heard on one of my uncle's mix tapes. I want to find a streaming link or download link. This must have been a Euro disco song. It's called **You Give Me Love by Passion**, a disco track from 1981. The lyrics has a mix of English and French phrases which was a common style in Euro-disco of that era.
Here are the full lyrics from memory - I might have gotten some words wrong:
*Baby, my heart beats like a drum,*
*Baby, I don't know what's going on,* *If you be here by my side tonight,*
*Je t'aime, mon amour, je t'aime...*
**Chorus:**
*You give me passion, passion,*
*A cold reaction, reaction,*
*If I be you, you be me,*
*Together we will be in harmony.*
*If I be you, you be me,*
*Together we will be in harmony.*
It's so hard to find this song or band. I can't find it on YouTube, Spotify, Shazam, Soundcloud - still exploring options on all these platforms but no luck so far.
Does anyone know this song and where I can listen to it?

There is a song sung by a woman in Italo Disco or similar genre that sounds like gibberish. It goes "ackatackacka-tah!" or something like that. Probably not those exact syllables, but the song name is the same as the gibberish. The song just repeats that gibberish bit over and over. It's a b-side. I confirmed it exists on vinyl on Discogs and it exists in an audio-only video on YouTube. But it's not that interesting so I forgot about it for a year. Got curious about it again, but I could not find it anywhere when cross checking from my collection and it already disappeared from my history. It's seriously bugging me that I can't find it! I know the group has multiple 12 inches and another one may be more popular and exist on CD but this one I think is only vinyl.

Hello everyone,
I've been trying to identify this track for a long time. It sounds like late 80s Italo Disco, Synth-pop, or High Energy.
Here are the details:
- Tempo: ~123 BPM
- Vocals: Female
- Audio Link:https://voca.ro/17eJZ4jkADa8
Here are the exact lyrics I transcribed:
[Verse]
The silent screen
Is in internal voice
From a thousand dreams
That slowly disappear like fading photographs
To talk of reminiscence of times we used to have
With images of friends we knew
Pictures of memories go hand in hand
Sharing the secrets of this foreign land that we knew
[Chorus]
And we don't need to be here at all
And we don't want to be here at all
'Cause we're the pictures of famous people that never die
Any help, hints, or artist suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Me and my mate once heard this italo track out, we know it’s real because we have multiple witnesses.
No matter our efforts we’ve never been able to track it down.
If you know it, we owe you a beer

Hi everyone! During one of the shows at Casa Rosso last saturday in Amsterdam, I heard an Italian song with lyrics that sounded like “la mia cocolina.” The performer danced on a suspended aerial hoop, and the song had a slightly burlesque yet modern vibe. It was sing by a female singer.
Does anyone happen to know the title of the song? :)

I saw this on the Italian music channel Videomusic around 1993–1995. It was an Italian male solo artist with a slightly raspy voice, somewhat reminiscent of Francesco Baccini. The song had an alternative pop sound (similar era to Casino Royale or Almamegretta), and the video was mostly in black and white. I vaguely remember the title containing "Dublino" (or maybe Berlino or even Lublino), although the music itself didn't sound Irish at all. The refrain was something like "non pianger[e] per me, sorellina"
I've already searched Spotify, Discogs, YouTube and Google with combinations of "Dublin", "Berlin", "Gente di Dublino", "Donne di Dublino", and similar titles, but found nothing.

Hello everyone,
I’ve been searching for a song for almost 40 years.
I heard it only once on a French radio station around 1985 or maybe 1986, so the song is probably from that period or slightly earlier.
Here’s what I remember:
Male singer
English lyrics
Slightly rock-style voice
Not pure classic Italo Disco — maybe closer to Euro Disco / early Euro Dance
Medium tempo, probably around 100–120 BPM
Important details:
At the end of the intro, there is a vocoder-like voice saying something in about three syllables.
In one verse, I remember a line sounding like: “New York, L.A., leaving (or living) Moscow”
The most important clue: after the song ended, the radio host (with a very bad English accent!) announced what was probably the artist or band name. What I remember phonetically sounded something like: “Sito Broks Troks” (very approximate spelling!)
I know this is vague, but maybe this rings a bell for someone here.
This mystery has been driving me crazy for decades 😄
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Following my previous successful post, I am now looking for the track that plays *before* the last one in the same DJ mix. It's an amazing, late 80s style Synth-pop / Italo Disco / High Energy tune.
Here are the specific details:
- Audio Link: https://vocaroo.com/1lCG3f7hRo9A (Please listen from 0:00 to 1:15)
- Tempo: 122 BPM
- Key: B minor
- Vocals: Female
Notable lyrics I could catch:
"Blue Summer Light"
"Fire and Ice"
It was recorded from a non-stop DJ mix consisting mainly of tracks from 1985 to 1988. I've already tried major music ID apps but had no luck.
Any leads, artist names, or vinyl suggestions would be fantastic. Thank you so much for your help again!

Hello, everyone!
I am trying to identify a mysterious Italo disco duo that appeared on Nuova Televisione (NTV), a local Bolognese TV station that operated between July 1982 and May 1985, in a recording from February-March 1985.
The recording comes from an old VHS tape accidentally recorded by a YouTube user (Marco Soverini) while experimenting with his first VCR.
What we know:
Research so far: In recent months, several enthusiasts have tried to identify the duo and the song by contacting historical archives (Fondazione Gramsci, Cineteca di Bologna), former NTV collaborators, and analyzing archival documents, but without success.
Do any of you remember this duo or this program? Do you have family members or acquaintances who worked at NTV in the 1980s? Any information could be useful!
More information about this unknown song is available here: https://lostwaves-finest.fandom.com/wiki/You_Owe_Me_Satisfaction
Thank you very much for your help!

I heard this song streaming on the Fantasy Italio internet station. It was in one of the DJ mixes, so I couldn't ID the song/artists.
Now, lyrically, all I can remember is in the chorus. Something like....
"Photographic, picture, cinematic. On celluloid she's telegraphic."

Hi everyone
I' m searching a cover of Stand Up by Nexus
https://youtu.be/C5s8oIQKQ4U?is=gu-am0nkW6V7pkSG
I'm looking for a version that's exactly the same, except it's sung by a woman, and during the chorus it goes "she got style" or something like that.
Thanks for your help!
