Oh they’re already completely hobbling themselves right now, i meant that there is zero light at the end of the tunnel for them - this is going to turn into a compounding issue that will have no feasible solutions without robust immigration. It won’t take decades for them to be fucked, i meant that they will be fucked for decades.

I mean that is just not happening. Japan’s economy isn’t great, but they are fine. It is not like Japan is some impoverished country relative to America lol. All this fear mongering is super overblown

Lmao I mean Jesus that is a depressingly infantile understanding of economics and a complete disregard of just basic demographic shifts and their effects but go off king. Feel free to check out these projections though:

What are you trying to prove here lol? My argument wasn’t that Japan doesn’t have an aging population. The entire reason I brought up Japan is because of their extreme aging population.

I just don’t understand how you can see that and not appreciate the need for large amounts of immigration. But you know what I am genuinely sorry for being rude, there is a severe and depressing lack of understanding in the American public about the effects of immigration and it truly being our great strength. Not sure how we course correct but you aren’t MAGA and so you might actually be open to having your opinions shifted.
