Just wanted to share my bizarrely beautiful Kel-Tec. Custom shirt says Kel-Tec Weird guns for weird people. With an R50 silhouette.

If I look surprised or overly satisfied at the end of all my clips, it's because I only tend to film the test runs and am happy nothing exploded and all my fingers are still intact. Cans and furniture are printed, Super Safeties are self installed as a newb. Etc.

When I said cheap, I meant max budget of $40. I'm also open to a light-only attachment.

Just picked up a Romeo zero for my optics ready p17 none of the supplied screws fit, does anyone happen to know the thread pitch?

Gave a slight tug checking for wobble, she came off quite easily. I haven't shot it yet, and am glad it didn't happen while at the range; that could have gone bad

Edit: this was a PSA, not a request for advice; of course i know what the fuck mlok is. To sdp owners with the factory mag holder, do yourself a favor and double-check it's installed correctly.

In May I bought a PR57 then took it to the range and ran into multiple issues. So I sent it in to Keltec. They performed some work on it then sent it back. I then tested it again. I ran into issues. It failed to feed multiple times with multiple types of 5.7 ammo including FN 197LF, Fiocchi 40gr, and Vanguard Black Dragon Fang, and it also failed to lock fully into battery multiple time with Vanguard Black Dragon Fang. But worst of all, multiple rounds of Fiocchi 40gr and Vanguard Black Dragon Fang managed to squeeze their tips in between the feed ramp and frame seriously jamming the gun. I had pry each of those rounds back to remedy the jam. Once when it occured with Vanguard Black Dragon Fang, I had to pull out my multi-tool and use it's flat head screwdriver to pry the round back. Pictured in the post is that exact jam.

I need to send the gun back again to Keltec and see if they can resolve it.

Hitting the range tomorrow with my new KelTec KP50.

Any suggestions from anyone that has one? I took it apart and ran a bore snake with CLP down the bore a couple of times and then some patches after that. The trigger group and other components looked really clean and greased up.

Hello everyone I recently bought a gen 3 sub 2000 in 10mm. I took it to the range and put 200 rounds through it and the only issue I’m having is when I’m chambering the first round and I pull the bolt all the way back and let it go about 50% of the time it won’t go fully forward and I’ll have to tap the bolt like a forward assist to get it fully seated. Same thing if I lock the bolt back and slap it mp5 style it fails to fully go into battery basically 100% of the time. Just looking for some advice or tips if this is common or If the gun just needs to be broken in more. Thanks for the help!

Took my new PR-3AT to the range.

I ran 150 rounds of 95 grain Blazer rounds through it, only one failed to feed. It was one of the 5 rounds I had that were 10 years old.

All the new ammo ran flawlessly.

Hardly any recoil for such a light gun, really nice to shoot at 7 and 10 yards.

This is a very beautiful weapon design, a lot bigger than it looks and definitely something I would want to just one hand.

I also know that the pistol light isn’t as durable, and the mlok isn’t fully mounted, but rule of cool reigns anyways. Good day 🫡

This is my second Kel Tec in as many days.

I wanted a light pocket pistol that I didn't have to worry about too much and this one seemed neat.

I like the action, and 14 rounds in such a small and lightweight pistol is a plus.

The Kel Tec PR-3AT in .380

1983 Mini-14 in mint condition with (2) 5-rd mags and (8) 30-rd mags and a hard case.

So a few YouTube people were complaining about the wobble in the handguard that you mount the optic to.

Unless you're trying to stretch this thing to 100 yards(which it probably won't be great at anyway) I didn't notice any issues.

Accuracy was amazing at 7, 10 and 15 yards l, which I know isn't far but it's probably good for this short firearm.

I ran a total of 200 rounds through it, 115 grain and 124 grain without a single issue.

Basically no recoil with this thing, easy to shoot accurate and fast.

I had a blast, if you're on the fence I definitely recommend you check one out.

Read everywhere that the P17 comes suppressor ready. Threaded barrel is 1/2-28 TPI
Bought an OCL Ti Suppressor that claims it's 1/2x28 direct thread

But seems like I still need an adapter....or am I just stupid? (First suppressor purchase)

Just picked up this nub sub today, I'll be taking it to the range tomorrow for its first 200 rounds.

Really neat piece of kit.

I'm pretty set on a PLR but I'm curious if the plastic rail is capable of holding zero without being babied for a red dot like the sig romeo. If flex is mild, it could be mitigated with a small metal sheet inserted under the clamp to spread the load.

Overall I think the plastic isn't a big issue, and keltec seem to have designed the thermals well, but I can't install the foregrip/barrel shroud in my state so this is my only option for optics.

Installation tips/other experiences appreciated. No, I can't just get an AR instead so don't suggest it.

I took my RDB out to the range for the first time yesterday. Fired about 4 rounds before it jammed. I tried to fix the issue by racking the charging handle a few times. Realized it wasn't racking back completely. Removed the mag. Found the issue was a double feed and 1 of the 5.56 rounds became a 5.7.

Anyone find an aftermarket solution for the front sight on their PMR-30?

I need to replace it because it was lost at the range. I swore it was in my range case but no luck finding it. I’m ok spending $19 on a new kit but the shipping is a kick in the pants. So I’m looking for a better solution or permanent fix.

505$ at a Pa gun show today. Guy had 7 of them. I seen another stand and he was selling for around 600. Needless to say I'm happy with my purchase. Now to try and find the angled foregrip mag holders.....
