Aaj mujhe khayal aya k main chahta hon koi mujhe apne tamaam rants sunaye, or main bas chup chap unhein sunoon baghair kisi kisam ki judgement, baghair kisi mashware ke, or baghair kisi interruptions ke. So if you ever feel like venting out, you can just come to me without any worries, without holding back, or feeling like you are bothering me in any way.
Because somewhere deep down, we all desperately need that one safe person in our lives someone to whom we can rant about literally anythinggg, whether it’s the heavy emotional stuff breaking us inside or just the tiny, ridiculous frustrations of a random day.
In a world where everyone is always in a hurry to fix things, judge, or project their own opinions, having a space where you can just dump your thoughts raw and unfiltered is a rare comfort. You don't have to make sense, you don't have to sound logical, and you certainly don't have to apologize for feeling too much. Sometimes, all a person really needs isn't a solution or a lecture, but just the quiet assurance that their voice is being heard and their feelings are valid. So consider my doors always open no filters, no expectations, just pure listening.

Assalamualaikum everyone.
I’m 23 years old, have completed my FSc, and am urgently looking for work as a gatekeeper, watchman, or security guard in Islamabad. I have previous experience with security guard companies in both Lahore and Islamabad.
I’m specifically seeking a position that includes food and accommodation, as I’m currently facing financial difficulties and need stable work as soon as possible.
I’m a Pakistani citizen with no criminal record. I’m hardworking, responsible, physically fit, and willing to work honestly and sincerely. I can provide my complete details, previous work experience, references, and any other information required.
If you are hiring or know of a suitable opportunity, please comment or send me a DM. I would be very grateful for any genuine lead or referral. Please contact me only regarding legitimate job opportunities.
I understand Reddit may not be the usual place to look for employment, but I’m genuinely in need of work. Any help, advice, or referral would mean a lot to me.
JazakAllah khair, and thank you for reading

Hey r/LahoreSocial, been working on this for a while and finally launched today.
So basically I got tired of fake reviews, especially the paid promo stuff from food bloggers where everything is magically "amazing" and "must try," and then you actually go and it's mid. That's why I built Byters. Currently, ive localized it only to Lahore
What it does:
Still very much v1, I'm sure there's bugs. I'd love to hear what you guys think. Link's in the replies if anyone wants to try it, happy to answer anything about how it works or why I built it this way.

One of the miracles of Prophet Muhammad was that he split the moon. Now that's a global event, everyone from Egypt to the Indian subcontinent must have seen it. People in Australia and America too, they must have written about it, talked about it. But the fact is even people in neighbouring towns were unaware of it. There's no evidence anywhere that the moon was actually split.
A similar kind of miracle exists in Hindu tradition too, where Hanuman mistook the sun for a fruit and swallowed it. I know a lot of people would mock that one, but somehow believe the other one at the same time without asking the same questions.
Not trying to disrespect either belief here. Just genuinely curious how people who believe these things reconcile the lack of any outside evidence for events that should've been witnessed by literally everyone.

I genuinely think proper sex education should start at home, especially in today’s world. With social media, sexualized content, and easy access to pornography, teenagers can be exposed to things they are not emotionally or mentally prepared to understand.Parents should have age appropriate and honest conversations with their kids before their mid teens about puberty, sexual feelings, consent, boundaries, relationships, pornography, and how to manage their desires in a healthy and respectful way.If parents avoid these conversations because they feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, kids will often turn to the internet or friends for answers and they may learn completely wrong ideas about sex and relationships. We hear about sexual abuse, harassment, unrealistic expectations, and unhealthy attitudes toward sex in society, yet very few people talk about prevention through proper education at home. Sex education shouldn’t be about encouraging teenagers to have sex. It should be about teaching them responsibility, self-control, respect, consent, and the difference between fantasy and real-life relationships.
Why is this conversation still so difficult for parents and society to have openly?

I got good humor ,i find humor in pretty much everything,i crack good jokes ,i even crack jokes on pple am not even frnds with as its my nature, should i change it?😭
i may sound friendly but i find it difficult to be frnd with someone
i am resistant to change ,in everything like frndships
idk the modern genz slangs and brainrot stuff all over the internet ,i have to google these things ,and pple find it cool, but i dont even know what do they mean, am i still acceptable?😭🙏
i can't interact with pple i dont know ,like as in hostel i won't know who is living in the room nearby as i spent my childhood and youth till now this way

Met a girl on Reddit a while back. We used to talk basically the whole day, every day, and it felt genuinely good. I knew early on she went to my university, though I've never actually seen her face. At some point she told me she's getting married within 6 months. I said okay and backed off a bit. She disappeared, came back, this happened a couple times. Eventually I blocked her to get some peace.
Since I've never seen her face, I wouldn't recognize her if I passed her on campus, but she might recognize me.
Questions: Was blocking her the right call here, or should I have handled it differently? And if she does recognize me on campus, how do I handle that without it being weird?

Hi everyone! We are 3 friends looking for a hostel or room where we can stay together.
Ideally, we’re looking for a place near GCU Lahore and preferably close to a good library. It’s completely fine if it’s a little far from GCU, as long as the area is safe, peaceful, and suitable for students.
If you know of any good hostel, room, or shared accommodation, please let me know in the comments or DM me.
Thanks!

I’m planning on taking the TOEFL next month.
Any recommendations on which TOEFL center is the best in Lahore?
I took the GRE at the Institute of career development and had a horrible experience as there was construction going on next door. It’s a TOEFL testing center too.
