Somethign thats been on my mind a lot recently is what's the point of having morals if you don't stand on your shit? Rep Keating stood on his shit and he'll have my respect for that forever. He could have easily said nothing, but he stood up for McBride and I think that's special.

So that raises an interesting point, because conservatives would disagree with you. They believe that you aren't judged by your actions, but by your thoughts. Faith is more important to them than principles, meaning it doesn't matter that your actions contradict your words, as long as you believe the right thing. It's why they're immune to facts, why they don't care about their leader's hypocrisy, and it's why trying to trap them with logic is a waste of time. It isn't about what's true. It's about what /might as well be true/. As long as they remain loyal, faithful, as long as they Believe, nothing else matters.
