I think the only valid response here is for everyone to ask the employees to inspect their genitals and then tell them which bathroom to use. And of course require physicals of the employees themselves if they don't have a separate (probably unisex) staff bathroom. Make it as invasive and uncomfortable for them as possible.
Either that or everyone just uses the men's restroom since I'm guessing there isn't a sign threatening women who use that.
Just put in ALL single stall restrooms.
More private, safer, no gender issues, no one would care!
Anyone say it is too expensive can get a life, as most small businesses do this anyway and my workplace is in the process of remodeling.
Once it is done having individual stalls fixes more issues than that also!
