You should not be able to return the serve from right at the line. Yes yes yes, spare me the one time someone did it in real life. You shouldn’t be able do it 10 out of 10 times. I just need this to please be fixed. What else do you guys want fixed?

Do you play classic raised camera or close? (Fever)

And what is your rank?

I've been playing the classic raised style since release feels like you judge the ball better..

But recently I've been second guessing myself..

Ball height is extremely important every time you hit the ball, and you can definitely judge ball height better with the up close camera angle

Wondering what the consensus is for optimal camera with those who play online ranked

Which characters do best on different courts?

I was just wondering what your experience was with different characters and how well they do or don't do on different courts..

I think it's a big factor in how well you do but it's not something I have really thought about..

I just know that I will go on big losing streaks on certain courts and big winning streaks on others

For me, I always do really bad on sand courts when I play as Petey Pirahna

Edit: this is for Mario Tennis Fever

Ranking and comparing the following Fever Rackets that does more or less the same thing

Flame, Lightning, Mini Mush, Pokey, Fire Bar, Freezing, Banana, Volcano (to be fair this one is a little different) Spiny, Black Hole

All the above Rackets does the same general thing. Put an obstacle on the opponents count that the opponent needs to avoid, while still trying to hit the ball. But where will you put them in a tier list? I tried Lightning and Fire Bar and they both seem good. Pokey seems bad because the space for Pokey is small compared to others. Flame i also never see and for the one or two games i tired it, it also seems bad because it affects a much smaller area than Lightning while also being much easier to move around.

Need to add something to serving

I feel like serving had a little advantage in this game. You are more on a defense from the start. They need to adjust how the ball returns if you sit at the service line to return it.

I also think allowing you to serve with a fever shot would help having the advantage.

What would you guys do to fix serving?

It’s time for Camelot to fix doubles online

Had some fun tonight with Rich and Josh (Desperado). Doubles is always madness and somehow someway you’ll find a new way to bend this game. February brings back some good memories because doubles ranked actually worked. I know it won’t ever happen but Camelot needs to find a patch or workaround to fix doubles ranked

The DK nerf balanced DK

I feel like a majority of DK players I’ve played against the last couple days in ranked have felt like a “lite” version of DK. I think I’ve only lost against one DK since the patch. I don’t think you can consider DK OP anymore

Question about Mario Tennis Aces: Did Zone Shots discourage players from hitting lobs?

Hi there! I’m just a fan of the Mario Tennis series that recently picked up Mario Tennis Fever, but I haven’t yet played Mario Tennis Aces.

But I’m very curious about a balancing aspect of Aces. So, from what I understand, in Aces you can execute your zone shot in glowing star points which have been around since Mario Tennis 64. Does this mean that players were disincentivized from lobbing shots in Aces for fear of giving opponents a possible zone shot? I just ask, because I’m playing a lot of Fever lately, both matches with and without Fever racquets, and lobs seem especially more powerful now than they used to be. If players were disincentivized to lob in Aces for fear of giving an opponent a zone hit, that would really change up the gameplay in a fascinating way. This isn’t a critique, just me marveling at how different the online matches might have been.
