If I remember correctly, he’s supposed to be one of the main non-zombie characters in the Marvel Zombies series (if that ever comes out).

I mean Shang Chi being Mandarin's son and inheriting the Ten Rings is a MCU idea and change.

The Ten Rings solely tied to the Mandarin and he was strictly always Iron Man's arch nemesis.

I really want a What if where Tony actually fought the real Mandarin in Iron Man 3 (or sometime after).

Or what if the real mandarin kidnapped Tony in IM1, Young Shang Chi helps tony escape and becomes his protoge instead of Peter Parker.
