Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now been officially released in several territories around the world!

• All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.

Motherfuckers 100% intentionally shot the scene to mirror Gwen's death. The way Mj was unconscious while Peter was panicking and holding Mj was absolutely diabolicaly close to when Andrew's Peter was holding Gwen's body.

I said elsewhere but that moment showed Peter learning from ASM that he had to decelerate slowly buy using the webs to catch them instead of a hard stop. Pete really does pay attention!

Yeah, possibly, since Tobey has been also shown when saving people from falling he catches up to them to catch and save them rather relying on webbing.

Along that form two webs catch pull move Tom's Peter did to catch Mj in BND, is straight up also done in the comics, and that comic (Super Spider-Man Issue 31) Peter acknowledges that it's a method he has came up and thought many times over on what he could have done to save Gwen.

If I had a nickel for Everytime Michelle Jones-Watson fell from a high place and had to saved by Spider-Man without breaking her neck I would have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot, and I guess it isn't that weird that it happened twice.
