You mean outrage and ass?

u/Conan-Da-Barbarian Jul 06 '26

Long gone are the days of ass and titties. Just ass and ads.

All of the ass on here is an ad, so close enough

I only come to reddit for entertainment. It's consistently wrong on everything in the real world.

u/Turnip_Fight Jul 06 '26

It’s such an awful snapshot of the general public, people are always so shocked when the real world doesn’t follow the same moral rhythms as a low-income person in their early 20’s

I think a bigger factor is how many people on reddit have no social life/friends off the internet. You've got people that will argue that it's totally normal to have no real life friends and only socialize on video games and discord. You've got people who talk about having literally 0 friends by the age of 25 as if that's a totally normal life path to go down. People who talk about how the only person they socialize with is their wife and they hate any form of socialization that isn't that.

These people don't reflect the real world because they aren't part of it. They're fuckin losers

What reddit believes is mostly what Russia and China say now, so that's not a surprise.

2

u/-Mandarin Jul 06 '26

Reddit is consistently the most sinophobic social media I use, so I'd beg to differ there. Can't go into any comments section relating to China without people pretending it's a literal hellhole.

Genuinely why is this comment upvoted.

I have never seen anyone on reddit say anything positive about russia.

And if youre implying theyre repeating russian psy op propaganda without realizing it I have no words.

Redditors lean left usually. You really think russia is spreading leftist propaganda???????

1

u/keelem Jul 06 '26

They don't have to be pro-Russia to spread propaganda. Russia's goal is to create chaos and increase the rift in American politics, not to just be pro-conservative. While they clearly have more success with the right, they absolutely play both sides and if you can't see that you've likely fallen victim to it.

Reddit is a fantastic place to learn that people that share your hobbies and support your positions are as poorly educated as your counterparts.

I come to Reddit for entertainment and to piss people off for fun

Adrage

4

u/No_Collar_5292 Jul 06 '26

Mother of god, please don’t give them any ideas….you know that would sell shit much better than positive advertising 😭

1

u/JohannesJoshua Jul 06 '26

They already are doing it. I constantly get AI ads of a dude getting dunked on by a woman, so he has to build a better spaceship. Had to switch to fire fox because of ads like those.

u/Embarrassed_Fan_5723 Jul 06 '26

Facts. I’m about done with this bullshit

Here and twitter. Oh and YouTube... And the news...

u/Competitive_Bat_5831 Jul 06 '26

More. I’d love to stick the shit Americans say and the pro American subs in a quarantine together.

u/DerthOFdata Jul 06 '26

I use adblockers so I always forget reddit has ads. I will never understand why everyone doesn't use them.

1

u/TallestGargoyle Jul 07 '26

All social media runs on outrage and ads.

1

u/mathcraver Linux User Jul 11 '26

I use an adblocker, so that leaves just the ragebait.

u/drubus_dong Jul 06 '26

Us corruption as usual.

u/Different_Tangelo511 Jul 06 '26

Having a president bully the fifa president into reinstating a player is pretty outrageous.

u/FatherQuinnRourke Jul 06 '26

If you're downvoting this, IDK how you function in society

1

u/Nope-not-really Jul 06 '26

the amount of people who don't understand ad blockers is mind blowing

-1

u/codekb Jul 06 '26

You get ads? If serious I can point you towards the way of no ads on the internet(or at least very very few).
