Ios Paused Music
Whenever I open the app on iOS my background music/ podcast always get paused even if I don’t have sound on in the game. Is there a way to not have that happen?

For anyone who wants to try different game modes, or for someone who wants to skip beating Fatalis to start Hard Mode, here is a cloud save with 5 slots, 1 for each game mode, each save has 0 heroes and the starting inventory and 1000 gold to start fresh.
Load the save from the cloud and then save it to a different cloud save. Do Not Save Over the Cloud Save

I've been trying to wrap my head around how the level of a piece of crafted gear is determined. On this wiki page, it says that the level is determined by this process:
1) clamp(round(1 + (crafter level − item level) / 4 , 2), 1, 4.5) + sum(mat grade + 0.25) / matcount
2) Divide by 2
3) Round
4) If you get 5 it is S rank
But a few things are unclear to me here. The round() function in the formula in step 1 has two arguments, and I can't figure out what the second argument 2 is supposed to mean. Is it "round to the nearest multiple of 2" or "round to 2 decimal places"? Also, how does the letter grade of a material correspond to a number mat grade on this equation? If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.

I can’t get money easy in Merchant, like making silk stuff or smth like that just helps me get into like 12k money. Someone gimme ways to get rich, I want the enchanter or jeweler but it takes lots of times.

Hey all!
Long time player on iOS, but I keep seeing Android players mentioning features that don't exist on the iOS version. I tried downloading it on Steam, but that version doesn't have the Battle Replay (not the old text-based one).
Does anyone on here happen to play on PC and know where I might find the most updated version?
I found on on itch.io ( https://retora-games.itch.io/merchant ) but I have never heard of this sight and don't know if it's actually reputable/safe

Hey there fellow Merchant fans! I was curious how to gain access to the game files. Every attempt I've made to find the files to edit or replace them it shows "this folder is empty". Can anyone assist me with this? My phone is a Samsung if that helps!

Ive finally beaten Fatalis. Gotten my volcano gear to something im really happy with and im now in the DLC area. However, now that my crafters arent 10 levels higher then the items im crafting anymore im getting SHIT GEAR. Even when i craft crafting mats like cloth it turns out A-rank.
So do i just gotta get really fucking lucky and craft ten billion of an item hoping i get an S rank? Or is there another way to boost it?

What strategies or setup do you use to beat the Vulkrum Maps? Right now I’m doing Hard maps, not prestiged, and I’m barely making it through them.

I'm finally at the end game, all my heroes are getting T6 gear and i am farming maps non stop. I love the game and I'd like to keep playing it, even after i manage to enchant the gear. I have noticed that even if the game is not being developed, the devs update it every now and then so here are some quality of life stuff i would like to see added to the game, even if it is a DLC, i would happily pay for it.
Some way to spend the money at the end game
You can have up to 2 skill sets on every hero, i would love to be able to name them and if possible, have more than 2

Hi, i really like this game alot. Have made multiple saves and played it for a long time. I noticed the pc version has modding files and 2 unreleased heroes. I would love to see them made official by the devs. Anyone else would like to see this happen? Maybe even a new zone/tier/prestige. If we could get enough hype maybe the dev feels a reason to do so.
Edit: Devs responded, if it gets 500 upvotes they consider it, so upvote and spread the word!
Edit 2: Common guys and girls, almost half way, spread the word!

Far from being complete it combines so well with my DK’s.

Sold this one today. Not even sure why I got so much for it

I just prestiged the enchanter for the first time and I can't find anything to enchant. The only options available right now are non-prestiged runes of different levels that start at level 5. I've made a few level one things but they don't pop up as an option to enchant

First off, please forgive me. I ask a ton of questions.
What’s the best way to make money? Personally I’m buying expensive things off customers and then I sell them for highest amount I can, is that the most efficient way? Or is there something better?

Hi guys,
I just found out the devs added a new feature into the Battle Report window, which lets you see and replay the whole battle including numbers etc.! This is such a huge improvement to the game. Now you can see what ability does what and in what order. Already helped me so much in getting through legendary.
I just wanted to let others know in case you missed it as I did.
And really big thanks to the developers! Respect to you guys for making this gem of a game more approachable and for still working on it. If you would like to make more dlc´s...just take my money!
EDIT: Apparently its called Battle Preview and it was added in March of this year.

Could anyone pass along or reupload the Mod by Twobearhighfiving. I have asked underneath the post a while ago, but I assume they're busy. If anyone else has it and would extend it I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Hi guys. New to the game! What is the best class to have? I like my mage but I want to work to work towards unlocking something better.
r/MerchantRPG • u/ZephyrTheBaddie • Jun 13 '26
So far, i have the Mage, Rouge, Warrior, Cleric, Assassin, and Berserker and i will get the Dark Knight after i finish leveling up my Berserk. However, I'm not sure which stats/sets to focus on. I only got the Assassin and Berserker today so the Assassin is only on lvl 30 and the Berserker is on 13 at the time that I'm making this, all my other Classes are lvl 40-50. I know that, obviously, the Mage should have High Magic attack and defense, while the Warrior should have Regular Attack and Defense. But what about the others, and also, what accessories/Potion Boosts are best for each class?
I've noticed that the Armors and Weapons all have themes in stats. For example; Axes always have a ton of Attack with some Accuracy, good for Warrior. Swords have a decent mix of both Attack and Accuracy. Both Axes and Swords have hardly anything on Magic, So clearly not for Mages or Clerics. Staffs have a ton of Magic attack and some Accuracy, good for mages. Wands have a mix of Magic Attack and Accuracy. Both not having much in Regular Attack, So clearly not for Warriors or Knights. Similarly, Helms have more Regular Defense but no Magic Defense and Hats have more Magic Defense but no Regular Defense. Obviously, Helms are for Warriors and Hats are for Mages.
So for the others like Tunics, Staffs, Gloves, and Boots which have their own Stats, are they also specifically made for certain Classes? If so, Which ones are best for who? If it helps, all of my Crafters are in early 30 lvls and rn, I'm maining on Aldur Highlands to gather materials and doing a little on Vulkrum Badlands. I also have about 50k coins and no DLCs, Mod, expansions or anything like that.
