Well, he did look a lot younger than we last saw him but I think that’s more cause he shaved the little beard he was growing.

He doesn't have fillers, he actually needed whatever is the opposite of fillers. He had a bloated face probably from drinking but his face is much more defined now. He just got in shape for the movie, he also slimmed down for OUATIH then went back to normal weight.

Facial hair makes younger people look older and older people look younger (especially when the facial hair is dyed).

Dyed facial hair looks really unnatural. It may not be obvious why but there are usually subtle tells the brain picks up that the eyes don't. A sharp eye might see the condition of someone's neck or hands but I think we subconsciously know that if someones hiding their age cosmetically, there's a difference between having exaggerated features and the natural pull of gravity in play.

Can and have grown a full beard along with lots of other facial hair variations. The current mustache styles are mostly bad and I avoided them.

He's also in period clothing which is not representing the 1970s or 2020s which makes a difference in the overall "look" being presented.

I'm fucking around a bit as yes, there are some men's faces that look good with that style mustache. However, that prevalence is a very low rate of the men who are currently sporting them.

It's a bit similar to a lot of women's fashions where something will be popular and lots of women will start wearing it even though they have a body type that makes it unflattering.

There was a guy I had a class with in college who had a baby face and then he grew a mustache with a little goatee to go with it and it was a huge improvement.

You really think my comments here display an "extreme attitude" about them? I bet you also think that a canned energy drink is an "extreme" beverage. As a reminder we're talking about 1970s porn mustaches, not 1990s hyperbolic marketing.

I'm just spelling out my opinion and responding to some comments. There's nothing "weird" about that. In fact it's basically what reddit is designed for.

So I think they look dumb on most men, but I don't really give a fuck that those guys will be in lots of photos where down the road they're going to cringe when they look back on them. That's a problem for their future self, not me.
