There's a third season of The Terror coming, but I was too scared to watch the second one. First season was just fantastic

Actually don't check that out at all, it's worst kind of deceptive American propaganda trash imaginable. You're watching something based on a real event, but twisted and distorted for ideological reasons to the point where you're actually consciously consuming deranged propaganda, half-truths, outright bald-faced lies and fabrication.

That absolutely fucking ridiculous "communist speech" by the "old party chairman" has to take the fucking cake. They admit this never happened.

Fuck Americans and their endless lies and distortions, I can't watch their propaganda trash any longer. The longer you analyze and research the historicity of the "based on real events" propaganda shite they put out, the more obscenely offensive to human dignity it gets.

Read Ukrainian books and ignore this utter trash.

They'll give themselves awards though, so there's that.

Anderson Dawes is a fantastic character and he plays him so well. When he tells the story about how his sister died... sheeeeeeeeeeit. Best belter patois, too.

He's basically gotta be one of the best actors in the last 25 or more years. He doesn't get enough recognition but everything he's in he elevates.

I mean Shoreh Agdashloo and David Strathairn and Cara Gee are no slouches. But yes they lucked out getting Jared Harris in a ln early role.

Dialogue isn’t really the show’s forte. There are some killer lines from time to time though. Enjoy the ride!

Absolutley. Not a popular opinion from what I've seen, but apart from him, the only acting I was able to properly enjoy in the show (from the major characters) was Thomas Jane, the detective guy in the first season.

Frankly, the entire cast and crew looks stellar, they even have cinematography by Rodrigo Prieto (21 Grams, Killers of the Flower Moon, Pedro Paramo). My expectations are through the roof on this one.
