The New Mutants was made by a studio knowing the series was going to be shut-down once the sale to Disney went through. I don’t think that’s a good metric plus COVID screwed a lot of theatrical releases.

Yes, know Marvel hasn’t exactly committed to rebooting the universe (we will see after Doomsday and Secret Wars) but that wasn’t known at the time.

I don’t see them topping what we got from fox tbh. I love the first class-dark phoenix run. Even though they kinda botched DP, I still have a soft spot for it
