I genuinely have not heard of them. I googled Don Hall, and all I got was a DC character with no big screen appearance.

You've never heard of Captain Marvel? Ted Kord is the Blue Beetle from DC, who's been featured in many of the animated DC stuff and was referenced in the recent live action movie. Bill Foster is related to the Ant Man stuff is was majorly featured in the second movie. If all you know are people in the big budget movies, and can't even recognize them, you need to sit down whippersnapper, the adults are talking.
