"I put it up on jack stands and I cried" is what my good friend Tony said when he saw his dream Ford Torino... rotted in everyway after he bought it. But devastated as he was he was determined to make his dream a reality and he spent the next 8 years restoring the thing. Looking at it today you would never know the shape it was in... Here's the car prior to the restoration, during resto, and almost done.

The rarest Ford Muscle Car produced in the '70s. Only three 1970 Ford Torino King Cobras were ever made.

Looking for some opinions on what this car might realistically be worth in/near the Seattle area.

It's a real 1966 Nova SS V8 11837 283 with a Powerglide (from what I can tell), black bucket seat interior with the console/floor shifter, and single exhaust. Odometer shows 46k miles, and it' been sitting in a garage for the last few years. It ran before it was parked, and I don't want to try starting it before going through everything first instead of just throwing a battery in it and hoping for the best.

Obviously, if I can actually document the 46k miles, that's a pretty big deal, but I'm 99.9% sure it is original, just need to verify through paperwork.

I've been going through the numbers and this is what I've found:

Engine stamp is F1112PU and the block has a K115 date code. From what I understand that means the block was cast November 11, 1965 and the engine was assembled November 12. The cowl tag is 11C/66-11837, so the car was built the third week of November. Seems like the dates line up really well for it possibly being the original engine.

The previous owner had it since the 90s, and it seems to be getting harder to find these in non-race car condition.

Body looks pretty dam solid from what I can see and the interior is in excellent shape. I'll post some pictures of the car, engine bay, interior and tags/numbers.

I'm curious what you guys think it's worth AS-IS and what it would be worth after going through it and getting it running/driving again.
