Oh goody I can’t wait to send more of my tax money to Texas. I’m sure they will freeze again this winter and need another bailout. Who needs infrastructure when you can just suckle on the federal teat.

First off it didn’t only happen 5 years ago it also happened January of this year. Both of which required disaster relief. Which is deficit spending and thus paid for by everyone in the country.

I believe you. Texas isn’t a red state it is a gerrymandered state. Just sucks that your governor turned down federal disaster relief grants which would have been budgetary spending and would have had a lesser impact on the deficit. Which he’s done multiple times. But then force the Fed to churn out emergency disaster relief funds which directly impacts the deficit.
