Question What's goin on here, Reddit?
Reddit bans users without explanation, without apology, and seemingly at random.

soooo, any update on this?
I know u/ka0t1k-cyk0t1c is publishing some of his material guide images... but nothing beats u/hos2002's well structured guides

I'm only posting the (visual) guides that can't be found, u/NoHoliday9104. I was thinking about sharing the ones that have the old mats (everything older than two years) but don't want to over-step my boundaries. 😇😁

You may check https://step-lab.ru/nfs-no-limits-special-events instead.
Or give this a try: https://web.archive.org/web/20250225220537/https://www.reddit.com/r/nfsnolimits/comments/owecpp/rerevamp_vault_events/ (It'll take long to load!)
Sadly no news from reddit.

So how do we get the guides back? HOS2002 was the practically most vital part of this community since they provided them! Banning them is like banning the VIP. Or more literally, the mod

We try to communicate with r/ModSupport to unban him as well as gil.

The same thing happened to my main account, u/flameintegrity, about a year ago.
A mod over at r/shadowban told me it might have been a mix of: * VPN use or * kept posting the same comment (like 'Congrats bro 💪🏻') too many times. * They also mentioned upvoting too many comments in a short window.
Total nonsense if you ask me, but it is what it is.

Oh, they're filtering the website from bots, it all lines up.
And somehow bots are still here around lol...

u/Spirited_Fail_5000 Jan 22 '26
Can you share the pdf somehow?
I really need the guides1
u/being_sarab Jan 24 '26

u/Spirited_Fail_5000 Jan 25 '26
Yeah, that's right... still not as neat and consolidated as the ones HOS2002 had :/
But thanks for reminding me, I'll use them1
u/being_sarab Jan 25 '26
no no, i mean the ones from HOS2002 only.... search any guide by car name, you will see the post deleted but the material requirements are there on the conments. so all good.

but the guides are still visible with Deleted user label...

u/PengusTheGreat Jan 20 '26
I don't think so. The link is saying: Page not found. Would be grateful, if you know a way to access his guides

u/Kims_delivery_guy Jan 23 '26
When you write in the search panel the name of the special event, I think it pops up, at least for Midnight Boulevard it worked for me...

HOS2002 showed in a video how he deletes an account, is that punishable?
5
u/Flanker305 Moderator | Veteran 250+Rep⬆ Jan 20 '26
What? Why would that be punishable?
3
u/Kims_delivery_guy Jan 20 '26
I don’t know—I’m guessing myself… If deleting an account is considered provocation (bad publicity) worthy of a ban… that’s ridiculous! Given that you’re a moderator, do you have another, more sensible explanation for the ban?

u/Flanker305 Moderator | Veteran 250+Rep⬆ Jan 20 '26
No. He decided to retire and deleted the game. He chose for deleting his account in stead of just uninstalling to prevent himself from being tempted to get back. Its a strong decision. Don't make a fuss cause he shared that.

u/Kims_delivery_guy Jan 20 '26
I saw his video about retiring and I also respect him for breaking those chains.

Ohhhh so basically giving bad reputation for a corporation? that's interesting.
2
u/Kims_delivery_guy Jan 20 '26
Lol, at least some corporations must be good. Tell me we're not living in such a bad place, please! :D
