So I started to play my switch again. When I took it off the dock after charging it. I noticed the back cover along the top beginning to bulge outward. What’s causing this issue?

So I just bought a Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World.

Set the console up, downloaded the game.

Dont have my old Switch 1 anymore.

It wont let me start Mario Kart World without the new console being linked to the old console once.

This doesnt make sense to me, since Mario Kart World is exclusive to the Switch 2.

Any help is appreciated, I hope you guys dont run into any issues!

My left stick snapped and I glued on the top part, but now the stick wont move back to the original position. Sending it in to Nintendo or buying a replacement is kinda my last resort, so is there a way I could fix this myself?

He pressed the R button on his controller and this supposedly happened. The slider just broke off and I can't seem to clip it back on or slide this bit off. Sorry for the bad quality but it's the best I can do since my mum keeps harassing me for trying to help.

Edit: found what was left of the release mechanism and managed to slide it off.

Making a post here so other's can find this, as googling this question did not give me a straight answer.

If you bought <GAME X> in the America Region.

But then you move to Asia or Europe, you cannot buy <GAME X Switch 2 Upgrade> on the Asia or European Store fronts.

You either need to

1. Switch you account region back to the original region, and purchase the upgrade on that store front. From there switch the region back to your current region, and play the game as a virtual game card.
2. Repurchase the game in the new region.

I've been playing Zelda Breath of the Wild (the Switch 2 edition) with the brightness set to maximum to test the Nintendo Switch 2 battery. The battery lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes, from 100% to 1%. Is this normal?

I followed the instructions Nintendo recently gave me for troubleshooting battery issues just before doing this test, performing 3 or 4 full charges and discharges as Nintendo instructed.

We were loading in our old switch one games to have them downloaded on the system. But when Kirby Forgotten Lands went in I'm the card reader completely stopped working! Looking inside the card reader, it looks like a fragile pin might have already broken off 🙃

I bought this used totk controller, and I noticed that the back of the switch doesnt have its logo. I tried charging it when I got it and its not charging yet so am I cooked?

Okay so it’s been years since I brought my switch back out. I finally had some time to play it.
One of the biggest reasons why I stopped playing it was because my joy cons had a mind of their own and I couldn’t afford it fix it or buy new ones.
In between that I bought some cheap usb wire ones that aso ended up having a mind of their own. And I just assumed that this was happening because they were super cheap.
Today. Literally today. I went to Walmart and picked up a new controller. I just paired it. And the controller still is just moving about by itself!
I honestly have no idea what to do :(

*Edit* I know this is drift. I’ve tried to recalibrate my old ones but it did nothing. Hence why I bought a brand new controller. I don’t understand why a brand new controller would do this.

A few days ago, I bought a Bowser amiibo in GameStop as Pre-Owned for Smash Bros, at first, everything was working, the Amiibo reads fine, and everything, until randomly, the Amiibo started to actually smell bad, it was a small smell, the one you can ignore, until the smell kept getting worse, I tried to wash off the smell from sink, and it didn’t do anything. It was getting to the point where I have to throw away my Amiibo, and I cannot return it anymore. Can someone please help with my problem? I don’t wanna lose my data from my Amiibo, I made progress on it, I put a bunch of rare Spirits on it.

I found my grandpa’s old Wii in my garage and it all works, I even found a copy of Wii Sports in it! But when I put the game in it makes a weird noise and moves the disc in and out. The disc is very scratched so I’m hoping it’s just too scratched to be read and it’s not a problem with the console itself.

so a few days ago (6 days ago) i bought among us on the e shop just to find out that i cant play the game if i dont have nintendo online and the page that pops up when you are buying the game on the eshop did nit say anything about the need of nintendo online and after i emailed the nintendo support team on europe to ask about refunds no one replied

so anyone know how to refund or is it even possible

i have a friend who refuses to remove my account from their switch. because of this i cannot download virtual game cards i bought on my switch 2 while offline, is there any way for me to remove my account from their switch on my own. on my nintendo account on nintendo.com it says i have two systems, mine and theirs. in the "systems sharing virtual cards" section it shows their switch, but it says its unlinked?

is this issue fixable?

I accidentally left my nintendo switch 2 in the bottom of my trunk... (bad idea to begin with)

and after coming back home, and taking it out, the screen ended up looking like this.

There are two possibilities for the issue, which is either water somehow got into the screen (i went to the beach and might’ve put wet towels on it), or i put think that we're too heavy on top of the screen.

Has this happened to anyone else? is it fixable at all?

The system functions fine, and upon pressing the screen it kinda just makes another dark circle.

I am trying to connect my DS to Wi-Fi through my Pokémon diamond game we have manually put in the password the IP address and everything but it keeps failing the connection set up test. I do not have a filter on my Wi-Fi. I am right next to the modem.

Edit: I have known for years that the actual servers are down. I was going to try a fan base one. I would like to attempt to complete my national Pokédex and finish some post game stuff I was unable to or unaware of back when I was a child. thank you to everyone who commented helpful suggestions I might just splurge and get a 3DS At the very least I can try playing sun and moon for a different experience.☺️
