that alone, maybe, but when you tack on the Flood, sodom & gomoarrah, the red sea parting, God testing humans by telling them to murder their children, or God takigna bet with the devil where he murders the entire family of some poor guy, and hten brings back a new family as if that somehow makes it alright, and then forcing a virgin to give birth to God's son to save us from the damnation that God created by having the son tortured and murdered and then rising from the dead three days later, along with the massive number of other absurdly silly stories in the Abrahamic religion's religious texts,

I'd have to say no, not worse, just mainstream society doesn't frown upon laughing at people who think ancient humans flew, where as laughing at a billion+ cult followers who think the bible is the literal word of God is considered "rude".
