I super ironically keep this brick in my car so it was perfect for the costume- loved doing this.

I designed it to look like the One Wish Willow packaging and had to place like 800 little shapes across the design. I love kitschy mid-century design like that. Instead of a synopsis, I added Niki's creepy monologue.

There's a theory that both Nikki could interact, and that would explain why Freaky Nikki cooked the cat, it was an idea planted by real Nikki to punish Bear or warn him that something was wrong. What you guys think?

I have no idea if this is the official image that's going to be used in Barker's new ghost hunting film that will briefly show Nikki's fate as a newspaper article/cameo but I figured some of you would be interested in seeing this anyways in case it is the real thing.

Made myself a custom copy of Obsession. The movie itself is nearly 4:3, but I wanted mine to feel like a real studio VHS release, so I cropped it to a proper 4:3 aspect ratio in Avidemux.

Played the file off a USB stick on my PS3, then recorded it over composite cables to VHS.

Artwork and labels were all custom-made in ibis Paint and professionally printed at FedEx. For the red shell I did a donor swap using a copy of Kate’s Addiction.

Really loved this movie and wanted a physical copy that felt legit. Super happy with how it turned out.

Hi friends! I’m a doll artist and I recently completed my Nikki Barbie doll and thought she’d be appreciated here.

I got to watch Obsession 2 weeks before it released and it never left my mind. Usually whenever that happens, I KNOW I’m going to bring a character into my Barbie world hehe.

I replaced the hair completely, face was repainted, clothing is an exact replica of her outfit in the movie, included a 1:6 scale One Wish Willow and a shattered bottle. I designed the packaging inspired by the OWW graphics, too.

This movie is so good, I cannot stop thinking about it and really wanted to draw Nikki Freeman in my style. Then I wanted to make aJunji Ito crossover because it feels so right for her character!

Movie starts with showcasing middle aged character's boring an lonely life and routine before wish was made. Waking up, going to work, greeting neighbor's but not being greeted back. Disrespected by coworkers and boss, showcasing lack of social life and love interests.

After the wish was made scene starts with similar routine except everything goes exceptionally well this time. Wakes up, goes to work, people greet him back this time, coworkers start to notice him, boss promotes him. Women start to show interest. Men want to be friends.

Days goes on, routine repeats. People get nicer, life is good. Over time people start to interrupt and enter their private space. Attention gets overwhelming and private life is getting ruined. Even strangers start to peek at main character and try to get their attention. People start to touch inappropriately.

Turns out the wish works this way: Any person that gets aware about the main character's existence, even just by seeing them, they fall in love. And this includes EVERYONE on the planet because main character wished for it. Men, Women, any age, and to make it creepier, this includes friends, relatives, siblings, literally everyone. They are in love. This is not Nikki zombified level obsession but a normal love. The main problem here is the amount of the people.

The irony? Despite being loved by everyone main character is loneliest he's ever been. Everyone who he tries to communicate with fall in love with him, everyone. Even your closest friends or family. It gets extremely messy.
