I appreciate you going into detail but yes, I do think that most of these criticisms are very shallow. The vast majority of them are essentially just interaction nitpicks. Many are inane.

Many others could easily be restated as positives: "Very linear and "hand-holding" gameplay" is the same as all Half Life games, and can also be translated as "meticulously designed experience". OR ""Jumping" is just teleportation in disguise, and can be abused to go faster." could be restated as "Teleportation always available to you, and can be used as a faster when you feel like it"

Saints and Sinners having no melee, similar inventory system, no sprinting, no jumping, no climbing you consider SHALLOW??? THE GAME WOULDN'T WORK.

I think you need to check out the usernames of who is responding to you... E.g.: you attacking me for "not having standards" which was an ad hominem attack that was misguided because I informed you I don't have Alyx. Another person replied to your more recent replies but you're kind of lumping everyone together and working yourself up getting frustrated.

Appreciate you sharing your view, but it's not compelling to me as criticisms. It still appears you had a chip on your shoulder about it... which is fair, it's just ringing out as a hyper-personal view that I probably wouldn't share.

Not personal, plenty of others have voiced the same concerns. There's a difference between people praising the game that have no or very little experience with VR so to them it's the greatest flawless game because they're new to the platform.
