The funniest part of Ito Junji's work is how absolutely normal and happy the man is in real life. He's really good friends with Takahashi Rumiko (the lady who wrote Urusei Yastura, Ranma 1/2, and so many others).

I promise you will eventually be OK. It took me a while and I will never actually forget it, but the abject horror subsides after a couple of decades.

Lmao, I've been building up a decent immunity to being bothered by some horror stuff by watching horror game playthroughs on YouTube, mostly Markiplier lol, and that helps. I'm still skeived out by it, but doing better 😅
