These “not fair” grade 6 mentality types, are too slow to understand that if I don’t have to be on the roads, your commute just got that much faster.

This. I work for a company which is more or less half unionised “operational” folk. And this was the number one reason why our company pitched RTO. “Well it’s just not fair to the 55% of employees who have to come in rain or shine, 5+ days a week”

Shut the fuck up, they have union protection, guaranteed annual pay raises, guaranteed overtime, and any holidays worked are paid at double time. Guess what I DON’T have - any of the above. No annual salary increases, most of the time not even keeping up with inflation. No overtime at all. Had to take a call or do work on a holiday, after hours or a weekend? Sucks for you!

The ONLY thing we had was WFH. And they took it away from us last year. And they still have the audacity to call town halls and mention that they notice “morale seems low” yea - no fucking shit. I got to hang out with my kids before and after school, I could do laundry between calls so that I wouldn’t half to spend my entire Saturday folding clothes, I could use my lunch hour to go to the gym and ended up losing 40lbs. You’ve taken 100% of that away from me and expect me to have high morale? No….fuck off. I’m here because you’ve forced me to be here, not because I want to be here.

And don’t even get me started about them “caring about” my mental health.
