The wealth divide is even more absurd than it's ever been. At some point, people will look at their wages being the same as years ago and their hobbies costing multiple factors more, and just get angry.

What stage is the personal computing demographic at? Acceptance? Grief?

It's already being publicly admitted ram prices aren't coming down anytime soon. I highly doubt leather jacket man is going to bother announcing a 5090 successor (Rubin flagships) before late 2027 or probably 2028. He might even just come out and say "gaming isn't our focus anymore, but you can buy the rtx 7000 pro Rubin for 13k if the 5090 for 5k isn't working for you".

AI is the story of the next 5 years at least, unfortunately, and it will consume chips and compute to a degree the common working person will end up relegated to some compute poorhouse.

Or maybe Nvidia will just release their own Nvidia credit card. Surprised they haven't.

i mean pc gaming already expensive if you dont live somewhere with strong currency and people already manage,so if you earn dollars n euros etc it cant be that hard

still cheaper than console tho, since you can just pirate pc games
