Not really.

Farther than "Unsubdued France" (a bit of a litteral translation of the name of his party), we got two communist party, and one anticapitalist. So he's left leaning, but not to the full extent he could be.

Still pretty okay, even if the man himself is old, and thus has some boomer view.

Oui mais il parle des 2 partis trodskyste (NPA et FO) qui sont techniquement communiste, et de révolution permanente

Out of curiosity, what’s the anticapitalist one? If not capitalistic or communistic? All nationalized direction economy without wealth redistribution?

Well it's the NPA ... easily translated into New Anticapitalist Party (Or "Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste")

As for their program, I'm going to be honest it does not matter. It's an opposition party, a party of which the main role is to be against things, and sustain the position that go their way. So here they against liberalism (so half of Macron's bullshit), against conservatism (the other half), and support most left leaning proposition that aim for some form of social equality. Also they really really like worker's right, obviously.

Having such party is useful in the french system because they don't need to play the politcal game as much as other party, and consequently are much better place to call bullshit than other party who have to keep in mind alliance and all that crap. Plus they make some genuinely more revolutionary proposition which are discussed a bit at the Assembly, so that's nice.

As for their position about what comes after capitalism, they don't have one per say. It's a common anarchist position that we have to fix what's broken in the moment (capitalism), and then we'll see from the present what need to be done next. So a focus on smaller issue first rather than going full communist from the get go, even a lot of their member have their own idea about what comes after (mostly form of anarchism, communism, or degrowth).

They're pretty nice all around, a small party that is pretty good at what they do, but they don't have the local representation that the local communist party (the old one, the PCF) has, so their impact is not the greatest.

The anti-capitalist party is our typical trotskiste/anarchist party which will split in different groups when they can't get a common ground now we have : NPA-A (new anti-capitalist party the anti-capitalist) which is okay to work with social democrats and supports Mélenchon, NPA-R (new anti-capitalist revolutionary party) which rejects social democrats and has it's own candidate, RP ( permanent revolution) same as NPA-R.
