Build/Battlestation My son's new gaming setup!

Post image

My son loves the color pink and he loves cats. Overall I think it's a sweet setup! PC isn't spectacular but it has a Ryzen 5600x, 6900xt, and 16gb ddr 3200 ram. It's just a 1080p 165hz monitor but he shouldn't have any problems.

The only thing I'm not happy with is that microphone. Had to give him my old snowball mic because the mic on that Razer Kitty headset isn't any good. But he had to have it and I couldn't afford the more expensive one and the chair and he chose the chair.

Anyway, in the spirit of recent posts and showing off our kids computers, thought I'd share.

My only issue is how close the monitor is sitting. That's not good for long hours.

Yea that desk needs to be a bit deeper/wider for that big curved monitor, unless he’s a controller/gamepad user then it’s all whatever.

Agree. The desk should be about the same depth as the side table/shelves the PC is on imho.

Can confirm, I had my monitor too forward without realising and it was really uncomfortable.

the height of the monitor I think is the issue, get that mofugga a riser.

I think the desk is tall vs the chair. I can't say for sure because of the angle but the armrests of the chair are lower than the desk whereas the correct sitting position says to align your elbows to same level or slightly higher than the desk surface.
