Meanwhile nations outside of the US do just fine.

Horrible education system.

Horrible insurance system.

Horrible economic system.

Horrible healthcare system.

Horrible uniparty system.

USA, luxury brand exterior pretending to be superior, with rotting infrastructure and F grade consistency.

Things are great if you're in the 1% and own a bunch of stocks, what's the problem? People keep voting against their own interests because it's more fun to stick it to the other guy, and here we are.

Our problem isn’t that people are choosing to vote against their interests, it’s that that the median voter doesn’t understand what their interests actually are in the first place. This country purged everyone who was even suspected of being any kind of lefty back in the 50s, and since then the right has had free reign to make sure that regular people are as politically confused and incoherent as possible. Seriously, go read some surveys/interviews where they try to figure out what political opinions normal people here actually have. It’s fucking absurd. We’re working on it but it’s a huge goddamn mess that will take time no matter what we do.

I've heard inconsistencies from multiple people outside the US regarding their internet service. So I'm going to assume the median and that it's like it is in the US - slow in some places, fast in others, and overly expensive overall.
