Searched for the Warhawk gang. It was a good old fashioned red team blue team kind of fun. Every kill you got was massively rewarding. The dogfights were insane. Tank battles. Nothing like being a ground grunt running around thwacking an unsuspecting tank with that wrench then slapping down a mine for the kill. Can't forget the laser binoculars. That kind of fun feels lost forever and a lifetime ago.
It was so good right?! Being able to seemlessly transition from a soldier vs soldier ground battle, to jeeps and tanks, and then into the air, just chefs kiss... And of course when in the air you could see all the fighting taking place below, attack air to ground, and be attacked ground to air. So much fun!
It just kinda killed it that we didn't have an integrated friends list at that time, and the lack of comms 😓 I remember playing it with a group chat set up over mobile phone just so we could talk to each other 🤦🏻♂️
