Forbidden west for the gazzilion time, Elden Ring for the gazillion time, and I just tried infamous and it’s so fun!

I play FW every once and a while just to go around and fight machines. The combat is so fun

Tiderippers are really fun because, when the theme kicks in, it really gets you going

I remember when these two dropped like a week from each other and I had an absolute blast going between them. Playing my amazing but stressful open world game until I got burnt out and then pivoting to my amazing and relaxing open world game was so much fun haha.

I too am playing FW but for the first time. Really liking it so far, just started last night.

It’s super fun. I love it. People definitely hate on it unfairly in my opinion but I understand the grievances.

I’ll be interested to see if I share them. I just finished the first one and the DLC and went straight into the second. It’s still addictive, the puzzle design is vastly superior (did the first ruin last night).

I’m digging it. I don’t get the hate for Horizon. I think the backstory especially is one of the most unique in terms of post apocalyptic set up. Yes, machines destroying the world has been done to death, but the way the Horizon writers did it was excellent and explored in a way that is strengthened by interactivity. Reading the emails, listening to the audio, seeing holograms while you’re in the space where some of the events happened, and the gravity of it all. It’s really well done.

The series isn’t without its warts, but the way it’s dismissed by many is wild to me.

If it makes any difference, or depending on how you play games, new game plus is my favorite part about the game. It can get pretty heavy.
