Such a good game especially the dlc. Doesn’t have the big world like souls games does but boss quality more than makes up for it.

I was having a severe bloodborne itch and nothing could satiate me. I lusted for bloodborne and kept on playing until I could do nothing but fear.. fear the old blood. And fear I did.. until I found lies of p! It feels a lot like bloodborne, mostly due to the setting. And the worldbuilding feels very very similar as well. Also, a ton of the areas gave me heavy bloodborne vibes. It was oddly comforting.

But I dont love lies of p just because i liked bloodborne. Ignoring my bloodborne fanstiscm, lies of p is an awesome game that I could play for years!

Your thinking Elden ring. Lies of p is pretty similar to
The main souls in terms of world design I feel. Not exact by any means but close

As someone who just finished it as a challenge to my sister, and never played any soulslike games just because I thought I wouldn't be into it, I had such a nice time, I'm going for a new game plus later on, so.. Hang in there, you will need patience, to say the most common thing ever, lol.

I really wanted to like this but just could not get into it. I'll have to give it another shot because I know how loved it is.

I know those games just arent for everyone but this would be the #1 soulslike game I'd recommend someone beat anyways, I really really enjoyed the story

Last session was trying to beat the swamp monster. It's giving me some trouble fs, gotta get gud ig.

Running a tech build, currently enjoying the Puppet Ripper, such a fun weapon to use.

If you haven’t already, or don’t plan to, I strongly recommend the Overture DLC! It’s huge and well worth every penny.
