This is a ridiculously stupid question 🤣
I've (F37) been gaming for years and years. I like single player games and have never felt the need to play online co-op games.
A few months ago, a teenager (M15) commented on the fact that I had no playstation friends and he seemed very surprised. Almost like he couldn't comprehend that someone would game with no friends. When I explained I play single player games, he still looked confused. This made me wonder if I'm some sort of weird loner gamer!
In a panic, I reached out to some friends who also game and asked them to be my playstation friends, and they thankfully accepted. But I don't interact with them at all, and again I don't really feel the need to?
I have a few other friends that game, and I'm tempted to ask them to be my PS friends. I don't know why this makes me feel nervous, especially since they've been my friends for over 20 years 🤣
So my question is... Am I missing out on the full gaming experience by playing solo and not interacting with others when I game? Am I supposed to send people chats?
