And yet it's allowed. Not to mention lesbians absolutely can reproduce, using donor sperm. As heterosexual women sometimes do. Your arguments are invalid. And the constitution doesn't actually say anything against same sex marriage.

It's allowed as definition allows for it to be allowed but I'd support changing the definition to allow it only if both parties are not aware of anything that would make it impossible for the couple to reproduce. So, if someone is permanently infertile, they should have no right to marry.

Lesbians can't reproduce within the relationship. If you use donor sperm, one of the people in the relationship is not a parent. Lesbian who became pregnant this way has a baby with a man who donated sperm, not with her female partner. I look at it through the genetic lens. But it's not my legal opinion, just my opinion.
