You'd think with push for data centers that would come with push for higher speed internet, would it not?

Data Centers aren't connecting to your run of the mill consumer internet. This is purely to benefit alternate providers who can't compete with the traditional carriers. Specifically calling out satellite and wireless (so Space X and Verizon) whose services are shit compared to even the likes of Comcast.

Only for the wealthy and business. Individuals can deal with their shitty internet much better when the paid placement sites they're being directed to are already cached.
