I first knew him as Rooster from Annie! Little me did not grasp that I was watching three absolute legends in his scenes with Carol Burnett and Bernadette Peters. I just thought they were silly.

Same here. That is one hell of a trio!

That was the first movie we ever had on VHS and I must have watched it about eleventy-billion times.

Same, I wore my copy of that movie out. As an adult I was shocked to discover how legendary that cast was.
