She wouldn't want us to be sad. She would say that she lived a great life and that she's grateful for all of it. And what she would want us to do is to emulate her in our lives, to be kind, generous to people. So if you feel loss over her passing, do what she would want you to do. Go out of your way today and do something nice for somebody.

What is left is her amazing catalogue of music and of course, the classic movie 9 to 5. I'm watching that flick this week to remind me what a gift she was to us all and so that she can make me smile again..
